A lifelong student of the bible, a cherished pastor, and a loving husband and father, Bishop Michael E. Turpin’s dedication to fulfilling the call of God on his life has garnered him an esteemed reputation. He is a powerful preacher, an anointed prophet, a skilled exegete and a man of integrity. His far-reaching evangelistic ministry and prophetic accuracy make him an intricate component of the body of Christ.  His knowledge of the Word of God, his ability to preach a balanced gospel, and his desire to teach the proper application of biblical principles has tremendously transformed the lives of his flock and others to whom he has ministered.

In addition to being a certified Pastoral counselor, Bishop Turpin has been educated at several institutions, including the New York School of the Bible, and the Alliance Theological Seminary where he majored in New Testament studies. In addition, Bishop Turpin has received several prestigious honors and appointments, including: Citations, proclamations and an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Hope for All Bible College. In July 10, 2010, Bishop Turpin was consecrated to the Episcopacy by His Eminence, Archbishop Roy E. Brown, presiding prelate of the Pilgrim Assemblies International, where he currently serves on the Executive Board of Bishops.

Bishop Turpin presently serves as the Senior Pastor of Harvest Church International, a thriving ministry, located in Jamaica, New York. He remains a humble servant of the Lord fully submitted to the call of Christ.

First Lady: Pastor Janelka A. Turpin

Preacher, Psalmist, Worship Leader and Anointed Woman of God.

Lady Turpin was born and raised in Brooklyn , New York to Renee Smith and Robin Williams. She graduated from the New York City Public School system and began working in the field of education as a teacher’s assistant, specializing in teaching children with mental disabilities and later went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Lady Turpin accepted Christ into her life at the age of seventeen. She joined Bible Faith Tabernacle Church in Brooklyn, New York under the leadership of Bishop Gregory A. Foster where she grew spiritually by the Word of God and went on to pursue the Call of God on her life. She was ordained a Minister of the Gospel at the age of twenty. Fully embracing her ministry, she served as an Associate Minister, Praise & Worship Leader, Vice President of the Choir and Head Psalmist at Bible Faith for more than 10 years. Lady Turpin also played an active role in the Youth Department by offering counsel, organizing intercessory youth prayer and choreography, as well as participating in the hip hop dance and steppers’ ministry. During her time at Bible Faith, the Lord choreographed her life one day at a time, one trial at a time and one triumph at a time. She quickly became a seasoned saint. After many trials and tribulations, Lady Turpin found favor with the Lord and God allowed her season of change to descend upon her.

On August 6, 2002, Prophet Michael E. Turpin found a good thing in Evangelist Turpin and the two became one.

On Wednesday, April 6, 2005, Bishop and Lady Turpin founded the Ananeoo Christian Center . What started as a bible study with only six members has now grown into an awesome work of God through the oneness of these great vessels along with the support and prayers of the ACC Family. On December 2, 2007, ACC became Harvest Church International.

To date, Lady Turpin is a much sought after counselor, psalmist and worship leader. Her willingness to be transparent about her trials and triumphs has given her leverage to encourage and deliver women. Evangelist Turpin’s motto is “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” {Romans 8:28}

Because of her strong belief in the power of praise and worship, Lady Turpin continues to be a great example proving that God is faithful and that which He has spoken, He will perform. At HCI, Lady Turpin assists her husband in building a ministry that is growing rapidly. She serves as

the Senior Associate Pastor, President of Worship & Arts, President of the Women’s Ministry and Director of Auxiliaries.

Lady Turpin is an exhorter, an encourager, a friend and an inspiration to all those who know her and know of her. Most importantly, she is a wife, mother of five children and a Virtuous Woman of God.
